A book launch with a personal touch

Frozen Mud and Red Ribbons by Avital Baruch

On Sunday 21st January, we held the UK book launch of Frozen Mud and Red Ribbons by Avital Baruch, in the intimate setting of The Shtiebel in Canfield Gardens. Avital, or Tali to her friends, read both poignant and entertaining passages from her book, aloud, to a packed audience, which conveyed a real sense of her beautiful narrative voice. There was then time for members of the audience to ask questions, as well as to share stories from their own personal histories.

Have you ever wondered what it's like to work with us?

Here, is Avital's account:

"Nitza and her dedicated team showed real enthusiasm and professional care throughout our six months of working together. To start with, Nitza has received the book from my publisher, read it and approached me to say how much she loved it.

We started planning together the event of the launch. Nitza chose The Shteibel, a venue that suited the occasion and the topic of the book. She put a lot of effort to make the event well publicised and in the interest of not only her 2000 members, but also local and national newspapers and organisations.

She had a listening ear to all my questions and requests. Her patience, her attention to details, her flexibility and her agreement to accept my opinions were invaluable.

It was so important for me to have someone who so much believes in my talent and proficiency, and in the uniqueness and value of my book.

Spiro Ark organisation was dedicated to make my evening a great success and I am so grateful for that."
