After our exciting and informative visit to Bletchley, documents have just been released outlining the similar role that Hughenden Manor (Benjamin d'Israeli's home), played during WWII. The RAF, based at the Manor, acted on the basis of coded information received there. At Hughenden Manor a private guide will take us on a tour of that part of the Manor which was involved in the clandestine operation. This will be followed by a vegetarian lunch, after which we will be at leisure to visit D'Israeli's home and wander around the lovely gardens.
