The British Library is showcasing a magnificent collection of Jewish, Christian and Islamic texts in SACRED.

This exhibition brings together some of the world's most important and beautiful religious texts and presents them in a unique and compelling context.
Priceless examples of the Hebrew Bible, Christian Gospels and Qur'an are presented alongside each other.

The texts are considered thematically, exploring points in common and differences between the three religions, looking at ways in which they have been produced, interpreted and used. By showing the material in this way, the exhibition shows how these faith interact and influence each other.
