The maximum number of visitors on this visit will be limited to 15-20. We will enjoy a 1 hour tour of the downstairs public rooms and the Victorian kitchens and will be told about the fascinating life of the Rothschilds at Gunnersbury.
Edmund de Rothschild was one of the last remaining Rothschilds to own Gunnersbury and lived there as a child. He remembers vividly catching his first fish in one of the ponds. The house is rich in memories of the every day life of the family who were financially privileged yet realised their obligation to look after those who worked for them and for the community surrounding the Gunnersbury Estate
You will be arriving by your own cars / or public transport and will be able to park in the main car park off Pope's Lane opposite the traffic island
