As the Biblical text is such a sublime, spiritual and literary masterpiece , what is the point of retelling and paraphrasing it?
This question was put to Rabbi Dr Jeffrey Cohen. His reply was: " I am certainly not offering my version as a replacement for the original but rather as an attempt to stimulate further interest in it among young people and adults alike.
