Kindertransport: Britain's Rescue Plan - a talk by Ela Kaczmarska
A JTrails /Spiro Ark inspired event at The National Archives, Kew
The Wiener Library in London holds many personal accounts of children evacuated from Nazi Germany, Austria and Czechoslovakia between Dec 1938 and Sept 1939.
Using individual firsthand accounts sourced from The Wiener Library and documents held at The National Archives, this talk will examine Britain's immigration and refugee policy and how it affected those children who left on the Kindertransports.
It is hoped that a selection of original records will be available for viewing on the day.
