Born to an Egyptian-Jewish family, brother of the famous food writer and historian Claudia Roden. Author of books on medicine and the Middle East, he is one of Britain's most eminent ear, nose and throat specialist.

An Argentinian singer and researcher, based in Paris, she is a renowned international specialist on the sophisticated culture of one of the largest Jewish Communities in the world, the Jews of Argentina.
