Recital with poetry and music connecting personal, physical and spiritual journeys.
Sir Nicholas organised and rescued from the Nazis some 700 children, mainly Jewish, just prior to the World War II (Kindertransport) and brought them to Britain. This was an extraordinary act of humanity and life saving journey for those children.
A bronze memorial sculpture by Venezuelan artist Flor Kent will be unveiled at the Prague Main Train Station in Autumn 2009. Profits from the concert will go towards the cost of the Memorial.
All families from the rescued children are specially welocome at this concert.
